The ghost counterpole my reality, on the other side of my computer screen. In reality trapped within the pixels of a screen lies an alter apparition, living parallel lives a daemonic program. As a human eats, sleeps, and breathes, the Spectre operates, watches, and yearns. No matter how eager, it’s impossible to embrace, reach, or even see. Tragically, yet romantically, the only exchange is to know.

From my creative process to the song’s structure itself, this is me throwing every idea against the wall, and seeing what sticks. The final composition is a rambling of ideas I especially enjoyed paired with lyrics solidifying my comfort with making off-kilter and somewhat embarrassing decisions as both an artist and personality.

Releasing Soon
The first draft of this song (made two years prior) wanted the listener to experience the misery I had inexplicably felt at the time. But when I first ever shared the song with a close friend of mine, I instead received love and appreciation of the work I had made. Somehow, the broken pieces I was determined to humiliate and criticize myself for, enamored and inspired the others around me. The revised song now reflects on that situation, a gift to my closest supporters.
